Diamond Eyes Eye Drops for Cats and Dogs 10 ml

Diamond Eyes Drops for dogs and cats has bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, and decongestant properties. Taurine and succinic acid normalize oxidation-reduction processes, have a reparative effect, slow the development of cataracts, and  also prevent degenerative and dystrophic disorders of the retina and lens. Chlorhexidine bigluconate has a bactericidal effect.

Ingredients

Chlorhexidine bigluconate – 0.15 mg/ml, taurine – 20 mg/ml, and succinic acid – 1 mg/ml, as well as excipient: water for injection.

Indications

For dogs and cats, for routine eye hygiene (removal of dried exudate from the corners of the eyes);

Excessive lacrimation;

Inflammation of the mucous membrane and vascular hyperemia of the eyeball (“red eye syndrome”);

For therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in acute and chronic catarrhal and serous-catarrhal conjunctivitis;

After trauma and foreign body ingestion;

For the prevention of cataracts and also age-related degenerative and dystrophic changes in the retina and cornea.

Directions for use and dosage

For daily eye care in cases of mild conjunctivitis, use a sterile gauze swab soaked in the preparation to remove exudate and crusts from the inner corner of the eye. Apply 1 drop to cats and dogs weighing up to 10 kg, and 2 drops to dogs weighing over 10 kg. Apply 1-3 times daily as needed at 5-10-day intervals:
– When applying the preparation once daily, use for no more than 45 days. After that, take a 10-day break.
– When applying the preparation twice daily, use for no more than 20 days. Followed by a 7-day break.
– When applying the preparation three times daily, use for no more than 14 days. After that, take a 5-day break.
– For excessive lacrimation, red eye syndrome, injuries, and the presence of foreign objects or irritants, administer 1–2 drops 3 times daily for 5–14 days.
– To prevent cataracts and age-related degenerative changes in the retina and cornea, administer 1–2 drops 2 times daily for 20-day courses with a 10-day interval.
