Uspokoin Express for Dogs is a sedative for quickly and effectively resolving behavioral problems in dogs in stressful situations.

Ingredients
Uspokoin Express tablets  weight 515 mg contain 120 mg of trazodone succinate per tablet (equivalent to 91.2 mg of trazodone).

Excipients in Uspokoin tablets include: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, sodium croscarmellose, povidone, colloidal silicon dioxide anhydrous, magnesium stearate, coating mixture, and a meat-flavored food additive.

Indications of Uspokoin Express for Dogs

To correct behavioral reactions and reduce agitation during stress and phobias caused by separation from their owner, fireworks, visits to veterinary clinics and hospital stays, loud noises, transportation and also grooming procedures.

Directions for Use and Dosage

Express Uspokoin tablets are administered orally to animals, forcefully applied to the back of the tongue 1 hour before or 2-4 hours after feeding, at a daily dose of 6-12 mg trazodone succinate per 1 kg of body weight.

Select the dosage individually. It depends on the animal’s breed and weight, type of nervous activity, and also degree of agitation.

Single doses of Express Uspokoin tablets for medium and large breed dogs:

9-11 kg – 0.5 tablets.
12-20 kg – 1 tablet.
21-30 kg – 1.5 tablets.
31-40 kg – 2 tablets.
Over 40 kg – 2 tablets +0.5 tablets for every additional 10 kg of body weight.

Round down weight classes at the extremes of the range

For situational correction of fear during transportation, attending events accompanied by loud sounds, visiting veterinary clinics, and separation anxiety, the drug is administered once 1-2 hours before the expected event.

Contraindications

Contraindications include: hypersensitivity to any of the drug’s components, including a history of hypersensitivity, liver or kidney dysfunction, cardiovascular disease, and epilepsy.

Veterinarians do not recommend giving the drug to pregnant and lactating females, as well as newborn puppies.
