Taufon Drops Taurine 4% 10ml

Composition of Taufon Drops Taurine 4%

Active ingredient:

taurine – 40 mg

Excipients:

methyl parahydroxybenzoate – 1.0 mg

sodium hydroxide solution 1 M to pH 5.0–6.5

Water for injection – up to 1 ml

Pharmacological action

Pharmacodynamics

An anti-cataract agent with a metabolic effect. Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid formed in the body during the conversion of ciscein. It stimulates repair and regeneration processes in degenerative diseases and diseases accompanied by severe metabolic disturbances in ocular tissue.

It helps normalize cell membrane function, activates energy and metabolic processes, maintains the electrolyte composition of the cytoplasm by accumulating K+ and Ca2+, and also improves nerve impulse conduction.

Pharmacokinetics

Systemic absorption is low with topical application.

Indications

This medication is used as part of combination therapy for corneal dystrophy, cataracts (senile, traumatic, radiation, diabetic), and corneal trauma (as a stimulator of reparative processes).

Primary open-angle glaucoma in combination with β-blockers (for topical ophthalmic use (to improve aqueous humor outflow)).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients; children under 18 years of age.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions are possible.

If the side effects listed in the instructions worsen, or you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, notify your doctor.

How to take, course of administration, and dosage of Taufon Drops Taurine 4%

Topically by instillation into the conjunctival sac.

For cataracts, 1–2 drops 2–4 times daily for three months. Repeat the course at monthly intervals.

For corneal trauma and degenerative diseases, use the same doses for one month.

For open-angle glaucoma (in combination with topical beta-blockers): 1–2 drops 2 times daily, 15–20 minutes before one of the topical beta-blockers, for 6 weeks, followed by a 2-week discontinuation.

Dropper Instructions

To puncture the neck, apply some force and turn the cap clockwise until the bottom edge of the cap touches the body of the dropper bottle.

After puncturing the neck, turn the cap counterclockwise and remove it.

Instill the drops into the eyes by pressing on the body of the dropper bottle.

To close the dropper bottle, replace the cap and turn it clockwise until the bottom edge of the cap fits into the dropper bottle.

Use this medication only as directed, as directed, and at the dosages specified in the instructions.

Interactions of Taufon Drops Taurine 4%

In patients with open-angle glaucoma, a significant increase in the hypotensive effect of beta-blockers (timolol, etc.) has been observed when combined with taurine. This enhanced effect is achieved by increasing the outflow rate and reducing the production of intraocular fluid.

If you are using any of the above medications or other medications (including over-the-counter medications), consult your doctor before using Taufon.

Special instructions

The dropper bottle containing the medication must be strictly individual.

Avoid touching the dropper tip, as this may contaminate the contents.

You need to close the bottle with the pipette after each use.

If other ophthalmic medications (eye drops, etc.) must be used concurrently, leave at least 10-15 minutes between taurine and the other medications. You should apply eye ointments last.

The preservative contained in this medication may irritate the eye when worn with contact lenses. Therefore, any contact lenses should be removed before instillation and reinserted no sooner than 15 minutes after instillation.

Storage Conditions

In a dark place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

Uspokoin Express for Cats Stress Relief 6 Tablets

Uspokoin Express Stress Relief Tablets for Cats, 6 Tablets

Uspokoin Express tablets are a sedative that helps resolve behavioral problems in cats in stressful situations.

Composition

1 tablet contains: trazodone succinate – 24 mg.

The main uses of the Uspokoin Express

Bathing and hygiene procedures;
Traveling by any means of transport;
Visiting the veterinarian or groomer;
Stress from loud noises (fireworks, thunderstorms, repairs);
During boarding or moving to a new location.
>The use of Express Uspokoin tablets helps solve most behavioral problems thanks to its active ingredient, trazodone succinate, a patented development of the manufacturer.

Express Uspokoin begins to work within 30 minutes, and its administration does not require a cumulative effect.

Express Uspokoin tablets are small, and their coating has a meaty flavor, which improves palatability.

The duration of action of Express Uspokoin is up to 6-8 hours.

Dosage and Administration

Uspokoin Express tablets are administered orally to animals, forcefully applied to the back of the tongue 1 hour before or 2-4 hours after feeding. At a daily dose of 6-12 mg of trazodone succinate per 1 kg of body weight.

The dosage is individualized based on the animal’s species and weight, type of nervous activity, and degree of agitation.

Single doses of Express Uspokoin tablets for cats:

Up to 2 kg – ½ tablet; 2-4 kg – 1 tablet; 4-6 kg – 1 ½ tablets; 6-8 kg – 2 tablets.

For situational treatment of fear during transportation, attending loud events, visiting veterinary clinics, and also separation anxiety, the drug is administered once 1-2 hours before the expected event.

Mode of action

When taken orally, trazodone succinate breaks down into two active components: trazodone and succinate (succinic acid anion).

Trazodone succinate’s action is based on the combination of trazodone’s anxiolytic, sedative, and also muscle relaxant effects. Succinic acid has an adaptive effect on the body, replenishing energy deficiency in cells and tissues exposed to stress.

Using trazodone in the form of succinic acid salt helps reduce the time to onset of a therapeutic effect and lower the therapeutic dose.

Trazodone, with its sedative, anxiolytic, and muscle relaxant effects, reduces or suppresses fear, anxiety, and somatic symptoms of anxiety: increased heart rate, salivation, excessive motor activity, vocalization (barking, meowing), and destructive behavior. It also has a calming effect and reduces tension.

Storage Conditions

Store Uspokoin Express tablets in the original packaging, protected from light, away from food and feed, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

The shelf life of this medicinal product, when stored under unopened packaging, is 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Verrukacid Solution with an applicator for external use 2g

Verrukacid Solution has a cauterizing effect and coagulates skin proteins.

Indications Verrucocid Solution

Common filiform plantar warts, papillomas, genital warts, dry calluses, keratomas. Apply precisely to the treatment area with a special applicator or a small thin wooden stick, avoiding contact with adjacent mucous membranes.

Dosage and Administration Verrucocid Solution

How to use

Apply the product precisely to the treatment area with a special applicator or a small thin wooden stick, avoiding contact with adjacent healthy skin and also mucous membranes.

For small papillomas (up to mm in size) and filiform warts

Apply Verrucacid once.

Larger papillomas and small warts (2-3 mm in size)

Treat large papillomas and small warts (2-3 mm in size) with the preparation 3-4 times, allowing the solution to dry.

Treatment of warts with thick, keratinized surfaces on the hands, plantar warts, keratomas and dry calluses

Before using Verrukacid on warts with a thick, keratinized surface on the hands, plantar warts, keratomas, and dry calluses, it is necessary to remove the keratinized layers on their surfaces. To do this, apply a keratolytic ointment (such as 10% salicylic ointment or another ointment) for several hours, covering the treated area with compress paper or plastic wrap, then apply a gauze bandage. Covering with an adhesive bandage is possible. After this, remove the bandage or adhesive bandage, steam the skin with hot water and soap and baking soda for 10-15 minutes, and remove the horny layers (cut with nail scissors or tweezers). Verrukacid is applied to the dried skin several times, with 3-4 minute breaks to allow the product to dry. Warts on the hands and feet are treated with Verrukacid 7-10 times at 3-4 minute intervals. Keratomas and dry calluses require 3-4 treatments at 3-4 minute intervals.

Warning

If multiple applications are necessary, it is advisable to coat the surrounding skin with zinc paste to prevent burning. After the last layer of Verrukacid has dried, remove the paste with a dry gauze pad.

Dermatologists or urologists remove genital warts with Verrukacid, applying it to each wart individually, 1-2 times, 3-4 minutes apart. If necessary, doctors repeat the treatment 6-8 days after the scabs fall off. Therefore, specialists recommend a total of 4-5 treatments.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the product’s components; pigmented nevi (moles); rashes located on the vermilion border of the lips and mucous membranes; do not apply to a skin surface area larger than 20 cm2; children under 1 year of age.

Special instructions

It has a cauterizing effect and coagulates skin proteins.

Avoid contact with mucous membranes, especially the eyes. In case of contact, immediately rinse eyes with plenty of water and consult an ophthalmologist. Do not bandage the treated areas, cover them with adhesive tape, apply any ointments, or remove crusts. Do not reapply the product before the timeframes specified above.

Synthetic clothing should not come into contact with the treated area. It is not recommended to apply Verrukacid to lesions located in skin folds (groin, anal area, interdigital spaces, etc.) or heavily sweating areas to avoid burns to unaffected skin on the contact surface or from the product spreading on damp skin. Allow the treated area to air dry. Do not apply any ointments or wash it with water for the first day after treatment. When used correctly, the product does not leave scars.

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.

The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein

You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:

  • The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
  • But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
  • Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
  • Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
  • Websites in professional use templating systems.
  • Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
  • When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.

This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
